WIAS 2024 Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 2024

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Women in Agribusiness Conference Summit 2024 (WIAS) (“Event”), hosted by Farmer on Fire Ltd.

1. Event Registration

• By registering for the Event, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Your registration is only confirmed upon full payment of the applicable fees.
• Cancellation requests must be made at least 7 days before the Event date for a full refund. No refunds will be issued after this period.

2. Event Participation

• The Event is open to all individuals with an interest in agribusiness, subject to registration.
• We reserve the right to deny entry to participants who engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

3. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

• Treat all attendees, speakers, and staff with respect.
• Follow any guidelines provided by the Event organizers, including health and safety protocols.

4. Intellectual Property

• All materials, presentations, and content shared during the Event are the intellectual property of the organizers and speakers. Reproduction, distribution, or commercialization without permission is prohibited.

5. Photography and Recording

• By attending the Event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used for promotional purposes by the Event organizers.

6. Liability

• The organizers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the Event.
• In the unlikely event that the Event is postponed or canceled, the organizers will not be liable for any costs incurred by participants beyond the refund of registration fees.

7. Changes to the Event

• We reserve the right to modify the agenda, speakers, venue, or date of the Event. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

8. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
